About The Grateful American Campaign
The Grateful American Campaign (GAC) was launched on July 4, 2018. The Campaign was developed from a strong desire to promote gratitude and help individuals thank their hero(s) using a simple and meaningful way to recognize their actions or selfless dedication.
Most people have someone in their life who has risen to the level of being considered a hero. Heroes come in all forms. They could include but are not limited to teachers, neighbors, family members, children, police officers, military members, doctors, firefighters, friends, clergy, a stranger lending a helping hand, etc. After experiencing help from or observing one of these exemplar people in action, you may experience a significant desire to do something for that person to show how thankful you are for their actions or sacrifice.
However, what to do can be a daunting dilemma, and the financial means to do something that is meaningful can be significantly limited. For this reason, the Grateful American Campaign was established to help fill this need. The GAC has many items that can be purchased to help provide you with a way to thank your hero which is designed to reinforce your sentiment daily. These items include the GAC Medallions, Coins, and Lapel Pins, coffee mugs, hoodies, and shirts. In addition, there are multiple displays offered to enhance the display of the coins and medallions for all to see.
Several coin recipients carry them in their pockets to remind them that some person or some organization thought enough of their sacrifice or dedication to acknowledge their efforts. The coins and medallions can be passed from generation to generation as a reminder of a loved one who achieved recognition from a Grateful American for a deed performed, sacrifice made, or example shown that made a difference in the life or lives of family members or total strangers. In addition, recipients of the various GAC coffee mugs, shirts, and other items have shared their enjoyment in wearing their apparel or drinking a beverage out of the items they received from a grateful American.
Mission Statement
